The oxygen gauge is established in a reception exhaust pipe about the catalyst. On cars with six-cylinder engines two gauges of oxygen are established.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect an electric socket of the gauge of oxygen which is located on a partition of a motor compartment. Take electroconducting of the gauge from скоб fastenings. |
| 2. Lift the car and fix on supports. |
| 3. Unscrew the gauge of oxygen from a reception exhaust pipe. On cars with engines 1,8-I for вывинчивания the oxygen gauge it is necessary to use key VW-3337. In the absence of a special key for access to the oxygen gauge it is necessary to remove a reception exhaust pipe. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Put on a carving of the gauge of oxygen a thin layer of greasing G5.
At installation of the new gauge of oxygen on its carving greasing is already put. |
| 2. Screw in the oxygen gauge in a reception exhaust pipe and tighten its moment of 50 Nanometers. |
| 3. Lower the car on the earth. |
| 4. Connect an electric socket of the gauge of oxygen and fix gauge electroconducting скобами. Check up, that there was no contact of electroconducting of the gauge of oxygen to a reception exhaust pipe. |
