Mechanism drive timing

Before chain removal note a direction of rotation of a chain; 10 – a bolt, 100 Nanometers; 11 – an asterisk; 12 – a bolt, 10 Nanometers;

13 – the device of a tension of a chain. Before removal of the device of a tension of a chain by a screw-driver release fixing gear gearing and separate directing to a chain from the tension device. To turn the engine it is possible only with the established device of a tension of a chain; 14 – a leading asterisk of a chain, 15 – an unary chain; 16 – directing to a chain; 17 – a special finger for a directing chain, 10 Nanometers; 18 – a directing finger with a fillet, 10 Nanometers; 19 – a bolt which is established by means of special tool VW-D6, 20 Nanometers, 20 – a bolt, 20 Nanometers; 21 – directing to a chain; 22 – a bolt established by means of special tool VW6, 20 Nanometers; 23 – a directing ring; 24 – an intermediate shaft

1 – a chain: 2 – directing to a chain; 3 – a forward asterisk of an intermediate shaft; 4 – a back asterisk of an intermediate shaft; And – a clamp of the mechanism of a tension of a chain; In – the adjusting tooth on an asterisk of a cranked shaft should be on one line with a socket of a cover of the radical bearing № 1; With – an adjusting label on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft; D – an adjusting label on an asterisk of an intermediate shaft

The drive of camshafts is carried out from a cranked shaft, not directly, and through an intermediate asterisk. On one shaft with an intermediate asterisk the asterisk of smaller diameter through which and the second chain the mechanism timing is put in action is fixed. The top chain of a drive distributive shaft stretches by means of the lamellar device of a tension which is kept in demanded position by means of located outside of an adjusting bolt. The bottom chain of a drive of the mechanism timing has the hydraulic device of a tension which does not demand adjustment.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before removal of chains of a drive of the mechanism timing, using a paint, put labels on chains in the places shown on fig. of the Place of drawing of labels before removal of chains of a drive of the mechanism timing. 2. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine in such position at which the piston of the first cylinder will be established in the top dead point. Thus the adjusting label on a pulley/gasitele of fluctuations of a cranked shaft should be combined with the index on a chain casing. 3. At installation of the piston of the first cylinder in ВМТ on asterisks of an intermediate shaft the groove (a groove Arrangement fig. see an asterisk of an intermediate shaft at installation of the piston of the first cylinder in ВМТ in a compression step) should be visible. If groove on an asterisk промежуточ ного a shaft it is not visible, turn a cranked shaft of the engine on one complete revolution and repeatedly combine adjusting labels with indexes. 4. Fix camshafts, having inserted special tool VW-3268 into grooves of camshafts. 5. At unscrewing of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft, using a wrench, for лыски keep a camshaft from проворачивания.
