9.3. A steering wheel

THE GENERAL DATA

Steering wheel elements (with four spokes)

1 – a steering wheel, 2 – a bolt with corrugated deepening on a turn-key basis, 60 Nanometers, 3 – a bolt, 75 Nanometers, 4 – the screw, 5 Nanometers,

5 – a fixing plate, 6 – a pillow of safety, 7 – an one-contact socket of a pillow of safety

The prevention

The bolt 2 has a sheeting and can be used no more than five times.

At installation of a bolt 3 it is desirable to replace a bolt with шестигранной a head with a bolt with corrugated deepening on a turn-key basis.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a pillow of safety from the central part of a steering wheel. 2. Establish forward wheels for movement directly forward. Thus the steering wheel should be on the average position. 3. Using a marker or a paint, note mutual position of a steering wheel and a steering shaft. 4. Unscrew the central bolt of fastening of a steering wheel and remove a steering wheel from a steering shaft.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a steering wheel on шлицы a steering shaft so that the labels put before removal of a steering wheel have coincided. At steering wheel installation forward wheels of the car should be established in position of rectilinear movement, and the switch of turns should be in neutral position. 2. Fix a steering wheel a bolt with corrugated deepening on a turn-key basis and tighten its moment of 60 Nanometers. 3. Establish a safety pillow. 4. Spend a control trip. At car movement as the crow flies steering wheel spokes should be in horizontal position. Otherwise remove a steering wheel and at installation displace it in the corresponding party. Check up and, if necessary, adjust corners of installation of wheels. 5. Check up work of a sound signal and automatic return of the switch of turns to neutral position after turn passage.
