Work programs

The control system of an automatic transmission provides various programs of work of a transmission. Depending on actions of the driver or from car traffic conditions gets out or economic, i.e. Directed on economy of fuel the program, or the active program which it is possible to name rather conditional "sports".

The choice of the program of work of a transmission is carried out automatically depending on a kind of work of the driver with an accelerator pedal.

At the slowed down or normal kind of work with an accelerator pedal, thanks to early inclusion of higher transfers and late transition to lower transfers there is a possibility of economy of fuel.

The so-called "sports" program of work of a transmission gets out when management of an accelerator pedal is carried out sharply enough. Thus it is necessary to press an accelerator pedal not so vigorously needlessly not to pass a threshold of pressure upon an accelerator pedal behind which there is the compulsory anticipatory inclusion of lower transfer provided in a control system by a transmission. At a choice of a "sports" mode reserves of capacity of the engine thanks to some delay of switching on higher transfer are completely used.

Selector blocking


The selector in positions "Р" and "N" at the included ignition is blocked. For a conclusion of the selector from these positions it is necessary to press a brake pedal and to press on the button in the selector handle. Thanks to it there is no situation when on imprudence one of transfers can be included, and the car will absolutely uncontrolledly get under way from a place.

In a design of an automatic transmission the delay device is provided that at transition from one position to another through a position "N" (for example, from "R" to "D") the selector has not been blocked. Thanks to it, rocking "the got stuck car is possible. Only when the selector at not pressed brake pedal is more than one second in a position"N", there is a selector blocking.

At speed of movement above 5 km/h selector blocking in a position "N" is automatically switched off.
