Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl and enclose pure rags under cowl corners to protect a paint and varnish covering of the car at cowl removal.

2. Disconnect a hose from a nozzle of a washer and electric sockets. Adhere to a hose and an electric socket a thin long cord. Extend from a cowl electroconducting and a hose, and untie from them a cord, leaving it in a cowl. Further the cord is required for a tightening in an electroconducting and hose cowl.

3. Using a marker, note position of hinges on a cowl.

4. Ask the assistant to support a cowl in open position and disconnect from a cowl a pneumatic support of a cowl. For this purpose a screw-driver edge raise spring скобу and remove the top part of a support from the spherical hinge on a cowl. 7. Unscrew screws, крепящие a casing of the hinge of a cowl and remove a casing.

8. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the left and right hinges of a cowl and, being careful, remove a cowl.

9. Check up a condition of hinges of a cowl on presence люфта and deterioration and, if necessary, replace them.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Using two assistants, establish a cowl and screw in bolts of fastening of hinges of a cowl by hand. Level cowl hinges according to earlier made labels and tighten bolts of fastening of a cowl.

2. Fix a pneumatic emphasis on a cowl for what with force press an emphasis before its fixing on the spherical hinge of a cowl.

3. Adhere to a cord an electric socket and a hose of a washer and involve them in a cowl.

4. Dress a hose on nozzles of a washer of a windscreen.
