13.14. The traction relay of a starter

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a starter. 2. Using additional wires of the big section, connect the starter case to the negative plug of the accumulator, and the positive plug of the accumulator connect to the plug 50. If thus приводная the starter gear wheel moves forward, but the starter engine does not rotate, means, is faulty or the electric motor of a starter or contacts of the traction relay have scorched. 3. If the starter gear wheel does not move forward, means, the traction relay has failed and it is necessary to replace it. 4. Unscrew a nut and disconnect a wire going from the electric motor of a starter to the bottom contact of the traction relay. 5. Unscrew screws and remove the traction relay from a starter.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Apply a thin film hermetic on the surface of the traction relay interfaced to a starter, fig. the Place of drawing of hermetic see. 2. Hook on an anchor of the traction relay for the operating lever, then screw in screws of fastening of the traction relay to a starter. 3. Connect a wire of the electric motor of a starter to the bottom contact of the traction relay and fix it. 4. Check up work of the traction relay. 5. Establish a starter.
