Arrangement of apertures for adjustment of light of headlights in horizontal (1) and vertical (2) planes
Correct adjustment of light of headlights is of great importance for traffic safety. Exact adjustment is possible only by means of the special device. At adjustment of light of headlights adjustment and antifog headlights is made.

The internal screw is intended for adjustment of light of headlights in a vertical plane, and the external screw – for adjustment in a horizontal plane.
At adjustment of light of headlights following conditions should be satisfied:
– Pressure in tyres should be within norm,
– In the car there should be only a driver,
– Fuel in a fuel tank should be more than 90 %,
– The car should stand on wheels on an equal horizontal surface,
– Before adjustment it is necessary to shake a car body that all elements of a suspension bracket have risen on places,
– The proof-reader of light of headlights establish in position 0,
– Adjustment is made only a passing light of headlights. The inclination of a light stream of light of headlights makes 10 sm on distance of 10 m, i.e. 1 %. |
